1. Press Sale
2. Press in dollar and cents amount then press CONFIRM
3. Tap on box to enter account number
4. Type in card number
5. Press CONFIRM
6. Enter expiration date
7. Press CONFIRM
8. Enter ZIP Code and press CONFIRM
   or press “CONFIRM” to bypass entering ZIP
9. Sale receipt will follow

If asked to enter the Customer Code or Tax amount you can skip this option by pressing the green enter button or the Confirm button on the screen

1. Open the SwipeSimple app on your device (Phone, tablet or terminal)
2. Log Into the App
3. Once logged in You should be on the charge screen
   • If you are not on the charge screen
     1. Tap on the Hamburger menu (3 lines) at the top left of the screen
     2. Select New Charge
4. Enter a charge amount
   OR
   Select the Items Tab and select the items you wish to charge. 
   1. On PAX Terminals: Tap the Green Charge 
5. Tap Charge
6. Optional: Choose Sales Tax Rate.
   If you’ve added more than one tax rate, this screen will appear. Select the tax rate appropriate for this sale and click next. The total amount will automatically update to reflect the new total amount.
   Note: Only taxable items in the cart will have this tax amount applied.
   
7. Enter payment
   1. For a sale with a reader, swipe or insert the card (Hardware required)
   2. For manual entry tap on Keyed entry. Then enter card information
      • Address information is optional, however some cards will require the information.
8. The app will process the sale
   • If prompted have the customer sign on the screen
9. When done press close

Create New Transaction

1. Log into SwipeSimple.com

2. Go to Virtual Terminal from the left-hand navigation pane

   

3. **If you have multiple merchant accounts** Select the desired merchant account

   

4. Enter payment information

   

5. **Optional** Check the Save Card for later use box to save the customer and card details

   Note: You must have authorization from your customer before saving their credit card

   
   

6. **Optional** Enter address information to utilize AVS

   
   

7. **Optional** For Level 2 Interchange qualification, enter a value into the Reference Number

   

8. **Optional** Add Line Items (Products) to the sale

   Options to add Items:

   • You can Type an Item Description and add a price to create an Ad hoc item
   • Use the drop-down to select an existing item
   • You may also edit the price of an existing item for this transaction by typing in a new price
   • Add Additional Items with the Add Item Button

   

9. **Optional** Add a discount by selecting a Pre-existing discount from the drop-down

   
   

10. Select the Charge button to charge the card

    
    

11. An Approval or Decline message will appear with the option to See the transaction details, Print Receipt or Send Receipt

    
    

12. Click anywhere outside of the approved/Declined message box to close the box
