Scenario

When a Ruby Tuesday location's password for the BroadPOS ("TransIT") application has expired it is updated by the processor. During this process the application is pushed to the device and occasionally settings can be reset to defaults.

A push of the BroadPOS application that resets the general settings to default will show the signature/tip line on the receipt. To turn this off, follow the steps below: 

1. Open the BroadPOS application
2. Select FUNC
3. Select Settings
4. The password to enter the settings is 9876
5. Look for the Operation Settings menu option and within there will be a section labeled Signature Type.
6. Within this area of the settings, there are two options for showing the signature line which are esignature and onpaper. Select the esignature option to remove the line from appearing on the printed receipt.
