Symptoms

• Terminal displays Card Blocked when attempting to process EMV transactions
• Manual entry still processing

Causes

• Processor rejecting the cards
• Entitlement not setup for card type
• Recent changes on the processor configuration
• Encryption on terminal corrupted or invalid

Resolution

• Verify no recent changes on the merchant account
• Verify card entitlements if happening on cards other than VISA and MASTERCARD
• If no recent account changes, close the batch and attempt a full download.
