General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) is a packet oriented mobile data service on the 2G and 3G cellular communication system's global system for mobile communications (GSM).

1. Confirm SIM card is set-up correctly and in correct port.
2. Make sure all the terminal communications settings correctly reflect GPRS for all modes. 
3. Choose Connection_Priority_1 as GPRS. 
4. Make sure SIM card is not in SAM slot. 
5. Walk merchant thru processing a test transaction to wake up the GPRS function, do this twice if necessary.
