Dejavoo: Invalid Batch Sequence

Outside of making sure that the batch has been closed successfully, you have to increase the batch number in the Dejavoo. Here's how to do that:

  1. From Idle Screen
  2. Press Green "OK" button
  3. Scroll until "Applications" is highlighted and press OK
  4. "Credit/Debit/EBT" should be highlighted. Press OK
  5. Terminal may ask for password. If so, press 1,2,3,4 then OK.
  6. Scroll to "Host Utility" and press OK
  7. Scroll to "Batch Features" and press OK
  8. Set Batch # should be highlighted. Press OK
  9. Screen will read "Starting batch #  x" where x will be the current batch number.
  10. Enter a number which is x + 1. for instance. if batch number is currently 3, press 4 and then enter.
  11. Terminal will ask if you are sure. If so, press F2 for yes or yes on screen if touch screen.
  12. Press red X 4 times to get back to idle screen.

Now if this occurs to a merchant often, we may want to swap or replace terminal as its most likely on its way out.
