Dejavoo QD: Not Powering On

If your QD Terminal will not power on, please try the following steps:

  1. Unplug power cable from the wall outlet (If in power strip please remove for testing)
  2. Test the wall outlet with a known working device to ensure it has power
    • If outlet does not have power please find an outlet that does
  3. Remove the back cover on the terminal
  4. Unplug the battery from the terminal
  5. Hold power button down for 20 seconds (Battery and power cables are still unplugged)
  6. Reseat the power cable where it plugs into the terminal
  7. Reseat the power cable where it plugs into the AC Adaptor brick
  8. Plug the terminal power cord into the Known Working wall outlet
  9. Hold the power button for 20 Seconds

If it powers on

  1. Wait for the device to fully load
  2. Press the power button
  3. Select Power off from the screen
  4. Unplug the power cable
  5. Plug back in the battery
  6. Re-install the back cover on the terminal
  7. Plug the power cable back in
  8. Hold the power button for 20 Seconds to power on
  9. Wait for the terminal to fully load
  10. Make sure the battery charging symbol is showing

If it does not power on

Perform an RMA according to Partner procedures
