If the Dejavoo terminal is stuck on System initializing:

1. Unplug the terminal
2. Plug terminal back in but as you do, continually press the red X key on the terminal
3. This action should prompt the terminal to open up a menu where you can run a file download to recover the terminal.

If no menu comes up and the terminal still shows ""system initializing"" then it will need to be replaced.

Please make sure there are no open batches on the old terminal. If so, please make the partner aware so they can close the batch out with merchant's bank.
