What's in this article?

When a merchant receives an error message on a Dejavoo from an attempted transactions "Failure VM", it will look like a declined/cancelled transaction.  "Failed VM" will print on the response section of the receipt.

This error means that the merchant has reached their daily authorization limit.  This limit is set by the risk department.  The merchant can reach the limit if they have had a new spike in business or there has been fraud on the account.

The error will prevent the merchant from processing until the Partner resets the limit in their profile.  Contact the Appropriate partner to resolve

These errors are very rare and in most cases due to fraud.  While the merchant may upset about the inconvenience, this parameter is in place for their protection.
