Pax E-Series: Change Date and Time

  1. Press the Home Button(Circle Button at the Bottom of the Screen)
    1. If unable to find the Home Button, Swipe Down from the top of the screen and select the Settings Gear
  2. Enter the Password
    PAX: Password/Credentials

    The default password for PAX Devices is todays date in one of the following formats:

    • MMDDYYYY
    • MMDDYY
    • MMDD

    Or

    • 1
    • 123456
    • 916860
    • ME: 0000
    • APS: 1234

    If you enter the wrong password too many times the terminal will lock. Power-cycle the terminal and then check the date and time on the terminal

    If the password is not working the date may be incorrectly setup and you may need to change the date on the terminal.

    Please note: If the passwords above do not work and you can not see the date, attempt the following:

    • Tomorrows date 
    • Yesterdays date

  3. Scroll Down and tap on Date and Time
  4. Adjust settings as necessary
    1. It is advised that you select the option for Automatic Date & time and Automatic Time Zone

    2. To manually set the time
      1. Turn OFF automatic date and time
      2. Select the options for Set date and/or Set Time
