Merchant is trying to use the PAX A920/A80 to process a card payment for SoundPOS or SoundPetro and gets the error ERROR: BROADPOS NOT FOUND

Cause

The PAX A-series Device does not have the BroadPOS Processing application on it

Resolution

The A-Series devices will need the BroadPOS application installed to run card payments.

• If this is a first time deployment the merchant should call the on-boarding team to let them know that the application was not installed.
• If the device was already processing previously then please push the application if you have the ability.
