SwipeSimple: Automatic Adjustment

A request for enabling Automatic Adjustments will need to be escalated to the Onboarding team via onboarding@OvationCXM.com / poynt-ss-onboarding chat. Partners will need to fill out an amendment before the feature can be enabled in their SwipeSimple sub-reseller portal.
Automatic Adjustment settings will be configured at the Company-level. All merchant accounts under a Company account will have the same Automatic Adjustment settings. Know if merchant should be enabled for Automatic Adjustments. Automatic Adjustment settings include:
- Adjustment Name
- When to apply the adjustment
- Adjustment Type
- Adjustment Calculation
- Adjustment Amount
- Adjustment Bypass
Applying Automatic Adjustments
Reporting
Certain reports will be updated to reflect Automatic Adjustments taken by the merchant
- Sales Reports will be updated for every merchant, whether they have Automatic Adjustments enabled or not. The “Adjustments” table will only show up if they have Automatic Adjustments enabled.
- The Transaction Report Details, and the Daily Reports, will also be updated to contain details about Automatic Adjustments.
Merchant Workflow
If a merchant is enabled for Cash transactions, they will be prompted to select tender type during the transaction flow
- For SS Terminal account enabled for debit routing, the prompt will read “Credit/Debit/Cash”
- For SS Terminal account not enabled for debit routing, the prompt will read “Credit/Cash”
- For SS Mobile account, the prompt will read “Credit/Cash”
If Adjustment Bypass is set so the merchant has the option, they will be able to select Apply or Do Not Apply
