SwipeSimple: Manage Cards On File

SwipeSimple: Stored Cards

You will need to store a card if you wish to set up scheduled payments of any kind.

You Must have a Customer on which to store the card. Most customers will have a card stored to them because they were created Automatically when they paid for an order, but you may need to add or change a card or add a card to a customer that was entered Manually instead of automatically

  • To add a card onto a Customer account
  • Edit a Stored card
  • Delete a Stored card
    1. Log into SwipeSimple.Com
    2. Click on Customers from the Left-hand navigation pane
    3. Locate the customer
    4. Open the customer profile by selecting The link in the Customer# Column
    5. In the CARDS tab click the Add a new Card button
    6. Enter the card information
      1. Cardholder Name
      2. Card Number
      3. Exp Date
      4. Billing address
    7. Click Create Card to store the card on the customer profile
    1. Log into SwipeSimple.Com
    2. Click on Customers from the Left-hand navigation pane
    3. Locate the customer
    4. Open the customer profile by selecting The link in the Customer# Column
    5. In the CARDS tab click the Edit button next to the card you wish to edit
    6. Edit the card information
      1. Cardholder Name
      2. Exp Date
      3. Billing address
      4. **Card number can not be edited
    7. Click Save Card to save the changes
    1. Log into SwipeSimple.Com
    2. Click on Customers from the Left-hand navigation pane
    3. Locate the customer
    4. Open the customer profile by selecting The link in the Customer# Column
    5. In the CARDS tab click the Delete button next to the card you wish to delete
    6. When prompted click Yes, Delete


SwipeSimple: Save Card On File

Card on file is available on the SwipeSimple Mobile App as well as the  SwipeSimple Merchant Web Dashboard. 

To enable this feature on your mobile device:

  1. Open the SwipeSimple Mobile App 
  2. Tap Settings at the bottom right. 
  3. Tap Save Card and select Always.
    The next time you process a transaction, you can choose to save the card for future use.







Editing or Deleting a Card on File

  • To modify card and billing address info, or remove a specific card from a customer profile, click on Edit or Delete
