What's in this article?

Digital Receipt

  • Reply-To Address: Email that will be in the reply-to field of the digital receipts. Customers can reply to the receipt and it will be sent to this address.
  • Header: One or more lines that will be displayed under the business name and street address
  • Footer: One or more lines of custom text.
  • Email receipt for every transaction to: comma separated list of email addresses to forward receipts to

Paper Receipt

  • Header: One or more lines that will be displayed under the business name and street address
  • Footer: One or more lines of custom text.
  • Default Count: 0, 1, or 2 copies
  • If using the "Email reciept for every transaction to" Feature, they will still need to send a receipt via email or text to get this to work. This will only send a COPY of a receipt. The receipt is generated when it is sent to the customer. The merchant will not GET a copy if they do not SEND a copy

If the customer wants signatures captured on the receipt and not the terminal screen, they need to set the post-auth tip setting to "On Receipt". We can do this IF we have access to their back end in Swipe Simple under company>merchant account.
