SwipeSimple: Reset merchant password

Warning
We do not reset the password for merchants or hand out passwords to people. They can get the temp password from their email address or they can use the Forgot password option when signing in
Typically when a merchant is having trouble with their password you will want to direct them to the "Forgot password" option on the login screen for swipesimple. If you are unable to assist them getting into their account via this method you may have to reset the password for them. to do this you will need to be inside the reseller portal
- Go to Accounts
- Click on the merchant account
If they have logged in successfully, you will see the option to “reset password” if not, you will only see “View Temp Password” which you can click on to see their temporary password. Be advised that if you reset their password, a new temp password will automatically generate and you will be able to view if from this screen.
