The PAX A-Series Terminal are Smart Terminals that use an Android based operating system. This allows for a number of different processing apps to be download onto the terminal. Transaction functions will be done inside the Payment Processing App. Please select the instructions for your app/Partner

- Press Return
- Enter amount and press CONFIRM
- Input Card information (Swipe, Tap, or Insert)
- Enter the Operator ID (If enabled) and press Enter
- Refund will process and receipt will print
SwipeSimple: Partial or Full Refund Public | Jul 10, 2025 - Generic Refund
- MerchantE on A-Series Refund
- Only admin users are able to perform refunds.
- Transactions Taken from the terminal can only be refunded on the terminal with the card details being present
- Transactions taken from the online gateway can be refunded from the dashboard.
- Locate the transaction in Transaction History
- Click on the transaction
- Select Refund
- Enter the amount of the refund
- Select Refund
Partial Refund
You can refund an amount less than the total of a transaction. The result of your full or partial refund will show up as a new record in the History screen.
To refund the remaining balance of a transaction, or to perform another partial refund for an amount less than the remaining balance, return to the original transaction listing.
Note: It may take up to 7-10 days for refunds to be processed. Please contact your merchant service provider for additional information.
