Change the comm priority between IP and dial and disable different comm types

Make the 1st and 3rd connection priorities match! Failure to make the 1st and 3rd priorities match will result in connection issues
It is best to set the communications priorities match the Auto Download communications Priorities.
Select the option you wish to use in order to see the instructions:
- From the DVMMs
- On the main screen press the green OK button to get to the Core Menu
- If the green OK button does not work try...
- On Aura non-touch models press F1 for Core
- On Aura Touch Models tap the 3 lines at the bottom of the screen
- If the green OK button does not work try...
- Press 4 for Utility
- Key in manager password 1234
- Press 3 for Communications
- Press 3 for Remote Parameters
- Select Credit / Debit / EBT
- In the Comm. Services menu, select payment processor (TSYS, Paymentech, etc. Usually the first option)
- Press 1 for Priority
- Select which priority you would like to adjust
- 1 for Primary
- 2 for Secondary
- 3 for Tertiary (Should match the first connection type)
- Select communication type to use
- Options vary by terminal
Note: Please have the file updated to match so that the settings do not revert back
- On the main screen press the green OK button to get to the Core Menu
- If the green OK button does not work try...
- On Aura non-touch models press F1 for Core
- On Aura Touch Models tap the 3 lines at the bottom of the screen

- Select Utility
- Enter the Password 1234
- Select Communications
- Select Remote Parms
- Select Steam
- Select Priority
- Select Primary
- Select the primary connection type that the merchant wishes to use (i.e. ETH, Wifi, or Modemtcp/dial)
- The terminal will confirm choice on screen and read ""Set to ____""
- The screen will clear on its own and go back to the priority selection. So just wait
- Select Secondary
- Select the secondary connection type that the merchant wishes to use (i.e. ETH, Wifi, or Modemtcp/dial
- The terminal will confirm choice on screen and read ""Set to ____""
- The screen will clear on its own and go back to the priority selection. So just wait
- Select Tertiary (Should match the first connection type)
- Select the tertiary connection type that the merchant wishes to use (i.e. ETH, Wifi, or Modemtcp/dial
- The terminal will confirm choice on screen and read ""Set to ____""
- The screen will clear on its own and go back to the priority selection. So just wait
- Hit the Yellow button twice
- Select Credit/Debit/EBT
- Select the Processor (TSYS or Vantiv) that applies
- Select Priority
- Select Primary
- Select the primary connection type that the merchant wishes to use (i.e. ETH, Wifi, or Modemtcp/dial)
- The terminal will confirm choice on screen and read ""Set to ____""
- The screen will clear on its own and go back to the priority selection. So just wait
- Select Secondary
- Select the secondary connection typethat the merchant wishes to use (i.e. ETH, Wifi, or Modemtcp/dial
- The terminal will confirm choice on screen and read ""Set to ____""
- The screen will clear on its own and go back to the priority selection. So just wait
- Select Tertiary
- Select the tertiary connection typethat the merchant wishes to use (i.e. ETH, Wifi, or Modemtcp/dial
- The terminal will confirm choice on screen and read ""Set to ____""
- The screen will clear on its own and go back to the priority selection. So just wait
- Hit the Red X key until you have exited the menu and are back on the Sale Screen
- Log into the Appropriate MMSx account for the reseller
- Note: Access to MMSx is very limited. Check with a TR if you do not have a login for the partner with whom you are working
- Locate the terminal by searching either the TPN or SN of the device
- Locate the Receipt setting you wish to update
- This is typically located in the second tab
- Expand the option under the second tab
- Expand the Common Option
- This is typically located in the second tab
- Update the Following Parameters as desired
- Connection_Priority_1
- Dial
- Ethernet
- WiFi
- GPRS
- USB
- Connection_Priority_2
- Dial
- Ethernet
- WiFi
- GPRS
- USB
- Connection_Priority_3 (Should match the first connection type)
- Dial
- Ethernet
- WiFi
- GPRS
- USB
- Connection_Priority_1
- Select Save terminal
- On the main screen press the green OK button to get to the Core Menu
